About the role
Our client in Medley area of Miami is in need of a Staff Accountant: General Ledger: Maintain financial records, process journal entries, and post monthly accruals. Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements, balance sheet accounts, and vendor accounts regularly. Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Audits & Taxes: Gather documents, prepare schedules, and assist during internal/external audits or tax filings. Cross-Department Support: Work with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and payroll teams to resolve data discrepancies. Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA is usually optional or in-progress for staff levels).
Software:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and accounting tools like QuickBooks, NetSuite, or other ERP systems. Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and good communication for working across departments
