This position will also be responsible for operations of the disposal area, ensuring public compliance with waste segregation, traffic flow, and safety.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be required and assigned. Operate various types of automotive equipment, such as ATV's, for litter control, riding mowers and trucks. Provide excellent customer service by directing users to the correct unloading area and assists with proper waste segregation Operate, clean and maintain edger, clippers, weed eaters, chain saws, blowers and other types of power equipment in the upkeep of grounds. Inspect assigned equipment on a regular basis to ensure proper working conditions. Follow work orders as required. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Graduate of an accredited high school or have a GED equivalent.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old or older. PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Possess a valid Driver's License.
