Body Shop Estimator - Lewis Collision CenterLewis Collision Center is seeking an experienced Body Shop Estimator to join the Lewis Auto Group team. Job Description: The Body Shop Estimator is responsible for inspecting vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates, and coordinating repair processes with insurance companies and customers. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage DRP relationships effectively while maintaining excellent customer communication.
Key responsibilities include: Write accurate and detailed collision repair estimatesManage DRP (Direct Repair Program) accounts and ensure compliance requirements are metCommunicate with insurance adjusters, customers, and technicians throughout the repair processEnsure estimates align with OEM repair procedures and industry standardsMonitor repair progress and update estimates as neededMaintain workflow efficiency from vehicle intake to final delivery Job QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience as a Body Shop Estimator requiredProven experience managing DRP accountsStrong understanding of collision repair procedures and estimating systemsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple prioritiesStrong attention to detail and accuracyI-CAR Certification preferredCompensationStarting pay: $25-$30 per hour, based on experienceAdditional commission opportunities availablePay is commensurate with experience and performance At Lewis Collision Center, you'll join a stable, well-established organization that values its employees and invests in their success-both professionally and personally.
