Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Inspector to support finishing operations in a manufacturing environment. This role will perform in-process inspections, verify product quality, identify defects, and ensure compliance with SOPs and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform in-process and 100% visual inspections of finished and computerized materials. Follow established SOPs, Work Instructions, and Quality Assurance standards. Identify and reject defective labels according to quality requirements. Operate and monitor finishing equipment, including tabletop rewind and Rotoflex systems. Perform roll slitting, rewinding, run monitoring, and run close-out activities. Operate the Label Vision System, including setup and monitoring. Perform start-up and restart verifications for computerized production runs. Accurately count and verify labels against required quantities. Support label reprint activities, including defect identification and reprint file generation. Release inspected materials that meet quality standards for further processing or shipping. Assist with packaging, shrink wrapping, material ID tags, and boxing of finished labels. Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. Assist with training and mentoring new In-Process Inspectors.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, production, or a similar environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects. Ability to accurately follow SOPs and written work instructions. Experience with visual inspection and quality control processes. Strong ability to count, verify, document, and communicate quality information. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Preferred Experience:
Label inspection or packaging experience. Experience with manufacturing/finishing equipment. Experience with vision inspection systems. Experience working with computerized production processes. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply with an updated resume.
