About the role
Independent Drivers Needed Help us service members of Volusia County who are 60+ years of age to reach their destination to obtain food and medical care. Weston Transportations Enterprise Inc. (WTE) is looking for Independent Drivers to provide local transportation to neighborhood dining sites in Volusia County using multiple passenger vehicles (vans and mini vans).Must be available Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Requirements:
Hold a valid and clean Florida State Driver License No Felonies or Misdemeanors Must Pass a criminal background check Pass a physical and drug test Speak, hear, and/or communicate effectively in English, using proper grammar and vocabulary Desire and ability to transport individuals throughout Volusia County areaCPR Certification and First Aid Certification a plus Must be vigilant for other's welfare (cognitive, mobility, grooming, etc.)This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is: Caring -- cares for others and wants to make a difference Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction Innovative -- prefers working in unconventional ways or on tasks that require creativity
