About the role
- Manage multiple waterproofing and joint sealant projects simultaneously from award through closeout
- Own project budgets, cost projections, profitability, billing, change orders, and financial performance
- Review contracts, drawings, specifications, submittals, and project requirements
- Coordinate material procurement, manpower, equipment, schedules, and field operations
- Work closely with superintendents and field leadership to ensure projects are properly staffed and executed
- Manage waterproofing systems, joint sealants, expansion joints, traffic coatings, air barriers, and related specialty scopes
- Identify scope gaps, changes, and additional work and effectively manage change orders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, owners, manufacturers, and project teams
- Participate in project turnover, preconstruction, scheduling, progress meetings, and closeout
- Help establish processes, develop the team, and support the continued growth of Sparkle’s Waterproofing & Joint Sealants Division
- 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience preferred
- Direct experience in waterproofing, joint sealants, expansion joints, air barriers, coatings, or related building-envelope scopes strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, and cost management
- Proven ability to manage multiple large projects simultaneously
- Strong financial and commercial understanding of project profitability and change management
- Ability to work effectively with field personnel, general contractors, manufacturers, and customers
- Highly organized, accountable, decisive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced construction environment
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management software preferred
