Summary:
5+ years of experience in application support, technical leadership, or data-platform troubleshooting Hands-on Azure data engineering and Python experience Working knowledge of Databricks and PySpark, including notebooks, data transformations, and read/write operations Advanced T-SQL and data warehouse skills, including stored procedures, functions, execution plans, indexing, and query optimization Experience troubleshooting ETL pipelines, large datasets, data-quality issues, and performance or scalability bottlenecks Understanding of RDBMS concepts, reporting flows, data movement, and production support practices Strong incident ownership, root-cause analysis, stakeholder communication, and technical coaching skills Preferred experience with Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Delta/Parquet, AKS, SSIS/MSBI, Power BI, Alteryx, ERP extraction concepts, and audit or accounting-related data .Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required Orion is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, citizenship status, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
