Perm BE/BC Neurosurgeon - Michigan Opportunity Overview An outstanding opportunity is available for a BE/BC Neurosurgeon to join a high-performing surgical team in Michigan. Practice in a newly built, state-of-the-art hospital featuring 20 operating rooms and a Level II Trauma Center. The facility offers advanced imaging, modern surgical suites, and strong multidisciplinary neurological support. This is a full-time opportunity with 24/7 coverage responsibilities, including trauma, spine, and general neurosurgical call. Call is 1:4 with PA support. Subspecialty candidates are welcome but must be comfortable providing general and spine call coverage.

Neurosurgery

Osteopathic Manipulation Medicine
The team includes two employed neurosurgeons and five physician assistants, creating a collaborative environment focused on comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform the full spectrum of cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures
- Provide inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical consultations and follow-up care
- Interpret advanced imaging, including MRI, CT, and angiography
- Manage high-acuity and trauma neurosurgical patients
- Participate in trauma and spine call as part of a 1:4 rotation
- Collaborate with neurologists, neurointerventionalists, trauma teams, and other specialties
- Deliver patient-centered, evidence-based surgical care
- Participate in teaching and academic activities
Qualifications:
- MD or DOBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
- Board Eligible physicians must become board certified within 5 years of becoming board eligibleValid Michigan medical license required at time of employmentDEA registration requiredBLS certification required and must be maintained
- Ability to provide general and spine neurosurgical coverage
- Strong clinical, surgical, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
