About the role
A family owned wholesale / distribution company in West Hills is looking for a part time Bookkeeper & Accounts Receivable Analyst to join their team.(Ideal work schedule is 5 days/week, 6 hours/day, FT in office. Able to be flexible.)The Bookkeeper & Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for: Receiving payments (cash and check), reconciling payments with open invoices, and applying payments appropriately. Collaborating with the sales teams to resolve payment discrepancies, billing issues, and inquiries. Working directly with the customer in a professional and courteous manner to collect outstanding invoices or resolve discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner. Assisting the Accounting team in resolving any issues that arise from the bank reconciliation process or through day to day operations. Collaborating with the accounting team and other departments as needed.
Qualifications:
2+ years of accounts receivable and/or general bookkeeping experience. Strong communication skills and professionalism.
