Field Service Technician (Entry-Level to Mid-Level)
Location: Boise, IDLaunch Your Career in the Semiconductor Industry Our client is seeking motivated, hands-on professionals who are excited to start or grow a career in the rapidly expanding semiconductor industry. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates from military, aviation, automotive, manufacturing, maintenance, or technical backgrounds who enjoy troubleshooting equipment and solving complex problems. You'll receive training while working alongside experienced engineers and technicians, gaining valuable experience with advanced semiconductor equipment used in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do: Install, maintain, and repair semiconductor manufacturing equipment Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and procedures Collaborate with a team of engineers and technicians to support customer operations Participate in training programs to develop technical expertise and advance your career Contribute to a growing team with future opportunities for mentorship and leadership
What We're Looking For: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field Strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for hands-on work Experience using hand tools, test equipment, or troubleshooting mechanical/electrical systems Ability to read and understand technical drawings, diagrams, and instructions Willingness to travel for training Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment Transferable Experience Welcomed We encourage candidates with experience in any of the following areas to apply: Military technical roles Aviation maintenance Automotive technician or mechanic experience Manufacturing or industrial maintenance Field service or equipment maintenance Electronics or electromechanical troubleshooting

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one ofemployment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll inthe 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in thisrole will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under theapplicable law of the worksite location.
