Payroll Coordinator (HR/Admin) Details and Compensation
Location: Canaan / North Canaan, CT 06018 - 100% on-site
Payrate: $29.21/hrRequired Availability: Full-Time | Mon - Fri 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (flexible lunch) Full-time hours (40+ per week) This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Payroll Coordinator (HR/Admin) provides administrative and payroll support to the assigned team, helping maintain records and generate routine reports. This role supports day-to-day office operations by compiling data, preparing documents/presentations, and assisting with workflow/process improvements as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the assigned team, including record maintenance and routine reporting
  • Compile data and create reports/statistics, timelines, tables/graphs, correspondence, and presentations
  • Assist with budget preparation and tracking as needed
  • Support process improvements to enhance workflow and efficiency
  • Serve as a liaison on administrative items within and outside the organization as needed
Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days. Proficiency with Excel (required)ADP payroll experience preferred Some HR/administrative experience required Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential/sensitive information appropriately
