The Healing Power of Horses
right stepLittleton (CO)
About the role
Learn to help bring the healing power of horses to people with disabilities. During orientation, we will go through all the ins and outs of what being a volunteer with us means. We hope to answer all your questions and go through what is expected of our volunteers. We have opportunities for people with all levels of horse experience, including beginners. We will train you on everything you will need to know to handle the horse and work with our clients. This orientation and training are given twice a month. In order for you to join the orientation and training you will need to fill out the application available on our website under the volunteer tab; our volunteer coordinator will reach out to you shortly. https://www.volgistics.com/appform/668616739 Please fill out application or contact us before coming to orientation as we have limited space available. We will respond letting you know if we have space and what you need to do to become a volunteer.** We look forward to seeing you around the barn!
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
