Compensation: $130,000 to $150,000 base and STIIdeal Candidate Produce or specialty food sales background with real depth in both foodservice and retail. Strong account management instincts paired with genuine business development drive, and comfort working in the numbers on forecasting, pricing, and pipeline.
Position Overview: The Sales Manager drives commercial sales across the retail and foodservice channels, owning account management, account development, broker management, new business development, and channel reporting. The role partners closely with customer service, finance, and marketing to keep commercial plans, pricing, and investments aligned and tracked.
Lead Responsibilities: Manage and grow the current book of business across foodservice and retail Identify opportunities by channel and build the business cases to support investment Drive new business development and manage the broker network Contribute to sales forecasting and demand planning with the operations team Own channel reporting, including monthly recaps, quarterly business reviews, and CRM pipeline management Implement pricing changes with finance and customer support, and track budgeted investments and return
Desired Skills and Experience: 7 or more years of sales experience in produce or specialty food Proven results selling into both foodservice and retail channels Strong CRM discipline with Salesforce or Hub Spot Strong data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting, ideally with Net Suite and Power BIEstablished relationships with distributors, brokers, chefs, and retail buyers
Travel: Nationwide, including trade shows, store demos, farm tours, and customer meetings
