Company Description: Trade Wize is a technology platform transforming how construction work is executed, starting with skilled trades. The company connects labor, training, scheduling, job execution, quality assurance, and financial workflows into one operating system built for real-world field conditions. By onboarding and training new workers at scale into the proprietary platform, Tradewize builds the skilled labor force needed for home building. This role specific training removes waste, reduces construction cost and improves quality consistency while giving the workers a succession plan for growth. Between our real time worker feedback loop and integrated A.I systems, the platform is improving rapidly to bring exponentially more value to our worker network and the home builders we serve.
Role Description: The National Director of Worker Recruitment is a full-time, remote role responsible for building and leading Trade Wize’s national talent acquisition strategy for skilled trades and supporting roles. This position oversees end-to-end recruitment efforts, including candidate sourcing, screening, and selection, while collaborating with operations, workforce development, and leadership teams to align hiring needs with project demand. The director designs and manages outreach campaigns to unions, trade schools, community organizations, and other labor networks, and implements recruiting processes and tools that scale across multiple regions. Day-to-day activities include developing recruitment metrics, monitoring performance, refining strategies based on data and field feedback, and ensuring an inclusive, equitable candidate experience.
Qualifications: Hands on experience recruiting construction workers at volume Demonstrated ability to build and manage pipelines of workers through partnerships with trade schools, unions, community organizations, and workforce development programs. Strong skills in talent acquisition strategy, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection, with a focus on consistency and scalability. Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, recruitment technology platforms, and data-driven reporting on hiring metrics and performance. Ability to design and implement inclusive hiring practices that comply with all relevant labor and employment regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners. Proven experience working in a remote environment, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
