Role Description: This role for an Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapist Assistant is based in Sneads Ferry, NC and surrounding areas. The role involves evaluating children’s motor, sensory, and functional skills; developing and implementing individualized treatment plans; and providing play-based, movement-focused therapy sessions. Team members will document progress, maintain accurate treatment records, and communicate regularly with families regarding goals, strategies, and home programs. The position includes collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and participating in team meetings and ongoing professional development to support best practices in pediatric occupational therapy. Qualifications: Current NC licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state of North Carolina. Education in occupational therapy from an accredited program; pediatric experience or fieldwork strongly preferred. Knowledge of pediatric development, sensory integration, and play-based, movement-centered intervention approaches. Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans and document clinical findings clearly and accurately. Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with children, families, and interdisciplinary medical teams. Capacity to work on-site, manage a full caseload, and adapt interventions to diverse needs, backgrounds, and abilities.
