About the role

Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience in legal content, legal publishing, legal editorial operations, legal technology, content strategy, product development, or project management. Strong understanding of legal, legislative, or regulatory content and how legal content is created and maintained. Experience implementing AI, LLMs, NLP, automation tools, or AI-enabled workflow improvements. Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects involving business, editorial, product, and technology teams. Experience gathering requirements, building business cases, and translating ideas into scalable solutions. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to influence without direct authority and drive organizational change. Analytical mindset with experience using data and metrics to measure outcomes. Experience working in a global or highly collaborative environment.
Nice to Have: Skills & ExperienceJD, LLB, or equivalent law degree. Background as a practicing attorney who moved into legal technology, legal operations, or legal publishing. Experience with AI governance, Responsible AI, or ethical AI frameworks. Knowledge of both common law and codified legal systems. Experience in legal research platforms, legal publishing companies, or regulatory information services. Exposure to commercial legal environments (M&A, finance, regulatory, transactional law, etc.).Agile project delivery experience. Leadership, mentoring, or coaching experience. Strong AI fluency, including prompt engineering and understanding LLM strengths/limitations.
Job Description: This is a legal content transformation and AI strategy role focused on modernizing how legal, legislative, and regulatory content is created, managed, and delivered globally. The person will act as the bridge between legal/editorial teams, product managers, engineers, and AI stakeholders, helping the organization implement AI-powered content solutions while maintaining legal accuracy and editorial quality. The role is less about practicing law and more about using AI, automation, and workflow optimization to improve legal publishing operations. They will own AI-related initiatives, establish governance and best practices, drive adoption across the business, and help shape the company's long-term AI strategy for legal content.
Day-to-Day: Meet with editorial, legal, product, and engineering teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven process improvements. Gather requirements for content generation, summarization, classification, enrichment, and workflow automation initiatives. Evaluate new AI tools and determine their applicability for legal content workflows. Partner with engineering teams on the development and rollout of AI-enabled editorial products and features. Develop and maintain AI governance standards and content quality guidelines. Review metrics around content quality, workflow efficiency, model performance, and customer impact. Present recommendations, project updates, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership. Drive adoption of AI tools through training, coaching, and change management efforts. Research emerging AI, LLM, and legal-tech trends and translate them into practical business applications. Collaborate globally with stakeholders across multiple regions and legal systems.
