About the role

Job Posting Snelling is seeking dependable General Laborers/Assemblers for a busy manufacturing shop in the Alabaster, AL area. The company has a large number of orders that need to be completed and is looking for reliable individuals to help assemble seismic towers.
Job Duties: General Laborers/Assemblers:
  • Assemble seismic towers using screws, bolts, and basic hand tools
  • Follow assembly instructions and ensure components are properly secured
  • Stand for extended periods while working
  • Regularly stoop, bend, kneel, reach, and work in various positions
  • Work as part of a small shop team
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Assist with other general labor and assembly duties as needed
Schedule: Normal hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with overtime Some Saturdays are required while the company works to catch up on orders Requirements of General Laborers/Assemblers:
  • Previous assembly, manufacturing, construction, or general labor experience
  • Must be dependable and ready to work
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, and reach throughout the workday
  • Must be comfortable using basic hand tools
  • Must be able to work well as part of a small team
