About the role

Quasi is a DTC beauty brand at $5M/mo run rate scaling to $20M/mo by end of 2026. Creatives is our biggest lever, we are hiring A+ players who know how to write winning ads, find net new angles, formats, concepts, avatars to expand TAM and conduct feedback loops and extract clear learnings from each ad. Our best strategist made $30k last month. The job in one line: own a creative pipeline end-to-end — research the customer, find the angle, write the script, brief the editor, read the results, iterate — and produce net-new concepts every week that take up ad spend.
Required: 1+ years as a direct response marketer (DR copywriter, creative strategist background) in house at a DTC brand or DTC creative agency. Personal winners — wrote scripts that spent over $100K+ in ad spend. Consumer psychology - understand why ads won or failed. Obsessed with studying ads. Who we hire: Researcher-writer, in that order. They live in Reddit threads, reviews, and comment sections until they find the pain nobody's saying out loud — then write hooks in the customer's own words. Ads are made in the research, not the edit. Direct response skills. Thinks in hooks, awareness levels, angles, and avatars — not aesthetics. Can explain why an ad won mechanically. Proven winners. Has personally produced ads that spent real money profitably ($100K+ behind a single concept they made, at a brand or agency doing $1M+/mo on Meta). Authorship verified, not "was on the team."Reads their own data. Fluent in hook rate, hold rate, CPA, ROAS — makes their own kill/iterate calls without a media buyer translating. Radically coachable. Takes a brutal ad critique and comes back with a better version, not a defense. Non-negotiable. Volume-capable. 15 new concepts/week, without quality collapsing. Obsession receipts: a swipe file they keep unprompted, breakdowns they do on their own time. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
