About the role

Prospera Executive has been instructed on a VP Finance search for a PE-backed fintech software platform that powers global commerce for software and digital businesses. The business has recently brought in fresh institutional capital to accelerate product innovation, go-to-market expansion and strategic initiatives. The VP Finance will report to the CFO and own the financial modelling and planning engine behind the next phase of growth. They will scale a complex, international finance function, with direct visibility to the Board and investment team.
Key Responsibilities: Own the company's core financial models, including the operating plan, long-range model, pricing and payment economics, and scenario analysis for the Board and sponsors. Build models supporting capital allocation, strategic initiatives, M&A valuation and diligence. Lead FP&A, budgeting and forecasting, turning model outputs into clear decision support for the CFO and leadership team. Own a multi-entity, multi-currency close and reporting process across international markets, including treasury, FX and indirect tax. Build investor-grade reporting and KPI infrastructure, underpinned by robust controls and scalable finance systems. Lead and develop a high-performing finance team across multiple geographies.
Ideal Candidate: VP Finance, Finance Director or Senior Controller with PE-backed experience. Exceptional financial modeler, confident building and owning three-statement, long-range and transaction models from scratch. Background in payments, fintech, commerce infrastructure or another high-volume, recurring-revenue software environment. Strong command of multi-entity consolidation, international tax and treasury. Commercially minded operator equally comfortable in the model and in front of the Board. This is an opportunity to take a senior finance seat at a scaled global platform just as new capital resets the growth agenda, owning the models that drive value creation through to exit.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
