Senior Project ManagerAt Jacobs, we're challenging today to reinvent tomorrow by solving the world's most critical infrastructure challenges. As part of our Transportation team, you'll support the delivery of complex alternative delivery projects that connect communities, improve mobility, and drive economic growth. We're seeking a Senior Project Manager to serve as the GEC Phase Lead for a large, multi-phase P3 project and help strengthen our position as a trusted partner to our clients.In this role, you'll provide managerial and technical leadership for a major project segment during the pre-procurement and procurement phases. You'll lead multidisciplinary design coordination, advance technical scope development, guide procurement readiness efforts, and help ensure the project is positioned for successful Design-Build delivery. Working closely with client and program leadership, you'll drive alignment, support informed decision-making, and help manage project risks, constructability considerations, and delivery outcomes.What you'll do:Serve as the GEC lead and primary technical point of contact for a major project segmentLead the development of technical requirements, design criteria, and procurement support documentationCoordinate multidisciplinary design efforts across engineering and technical teamsEnsure technical scope is well-defined, coordinated, and aligned with client standards and requirementsPartner with client and program management teams to support procurement readiness and resolve technical issuesIdentify, communicate, and help address design gaps, inconsistencies, and constructability risksSupport the development of procurement packages and technical provisionsProvide leadership on constructability, staging, and project phasing strategiesEnsure delivery of high-quality, coordinated technical work across GEC teamsManage and coordinate subconsultants, including scope, performance, deliverables, and alignment with project objectivesOversee project budgets, resource planning, and schedule performance for assigned technical activitiesSupport the transition from pre-procurement activities into procurementHere's what you'll need:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related fieldProfessional Engineer (PE) license required10+ years of experience in transportation design and/or project deliveryExperience on large infrastructure projects, including DOT, Design-Build, or P3 projectsDemonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teamsIdeally, you'll also have:Experience supporting pre-procurement planning and procurement development for Design-Build projectsExperience serving as a Design Manager, Owner's Representative, or in a similar project leadership roleFamiliarity with owner standards, procedures, and project development processesExperience with constructability reviews, staging and maintenance of traffic (MOT), and corridor-level design coordinationStrong ability to lead complex, multidisciplinary project effortsExperience defining and structuring large infrastructure projects prior to procurementStrong cross-discipline coordination and integration skillsAbility to identify and address project risks early in project developmentEffective communication and stakeholder management skills with clients, program management teams, and project leadership groupsOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
