Accounts Payable SpecialistTysons Corner, 100% in office$65,000 Our client is a construction company with an exciting new opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist. The role is in Tysons Corner, VA and is 100% in office. The Accounts Payable Specialist will join a team responsible for processing high volume vendor payable invoices, including expense reports, journal entries, and coding of invoices. Candidates looking for growth within their accounting career are highly encouraged to apply. The Accounts Payable Specialist ideally will have experience managing a high volume fully cycle payables processing system and payment processing experience. Accounts Payable Specialist will report to the AP Manager and will be responsible for the following duties: Process high volume invoices for multiple properties and sitesManage the system for all payables including process improvement and policy reviewCode, match, batch, and processes checks, and ACHsPosting GL journal entries, monthly reconciliations, and accrualsSet-up new vendors within ERP SystemProcess credit card reconciliations, EFTs & ACHsProcess 1099s and W9sResolve discrepancies with payments and vendor inquiresTrack monthly accruals and variance in vendor paymentsManage the sales & uses tax processingIf interested, please reach out to Ian Gainor via LinkedIn
