Ship FitterLabor One is currently hiring ship fitters in Pascagoula, MS at a shipyard. Pay rate is up to $26.10 for night shift and $24.10 for day shift, if eligible. Job requirements include three years of experience in shipyard, knowledge of welding, tacking, burning, and scarfing. Assessment test includes written blueprint, basic ship fitting, hands on blueprint burning, tacking, assembly. Must comprehend written and verbal instructions (in English). Must be able to hear warning signals, read and comprehend safety instructions, regulations, and warnings. Must pass a hearing test, drug test and PFT. Must be able to work any shift and overtime.
