Senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal – Roseland, NJ - Onsite $100K - $130KAbout this role We are looking for a Senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal with 5+ years of experience to join a busy, high-caliber real estate team at a 115-year-old New Jersey law firm. You'll work directly alongside practice leaders on sophisticated commercial deals for entrepreneurial NJ developers, property owners, investors, and lenders - and the partners here say the best paralegals are "just as good, if not better, than young associates."
Responsibilities: Ordering and reviewing title commitments and surveys, and clearing title objectionsPreparing closing documents, managing closing checklists, and coordinating funds flow for commercial acquisitions, sales, leasing, and financing transactionsHandling due diligence, entity documents, and estoppels across multiple active dealsManaging post-closing recordings, filings, and follow-up itemsInterfacing directly with clients, opposing counsel, and title companies with minimal partner oversightKey Requirements 5+ years of recent, continuous experience as a commercial real estate paralegal at a law firm (not residential-only) Hands-on title, survey, and closing experience — you can run a closing from start to post-closing independentlyStable employment history with no pattern of frequent job changesAble to be in the Roseland, NJ office 5 days a weekStrong attention to detail and polished written work product
