Injection Molding Process Technician$56,000$75,000 annually + shift differential We're looking for an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician who knows how to take a machine from setup through a stable, quality production run. You'll work hands-on with injection molding machines, molds, materials, and process parameters while troubleshooting problems and improving production performance.
What You'll Do:
  • Set up and adjust injection molding machines, tooling, and auxiliary equipment
  • Perform mold, color, and material changeovers
  • Start up and optimize injection molding processes
  • Troubleshoot molding defects and process deviations
  • Monitor process parameters, cycle efficiency, and product quality
  • Work with various grades of plastic materials
  • Pull, change, and set molds using forklifts and/or overhead cranes
  • Support new mold and material trials
  • Perform machine testing and process validation
  • Partner with Engineering on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Document process settings, adjustments, and troubleshooting activity
What We're Looking For:
  • Hands-on injection molding/process technician experience
  • Strong understanding of injection molding processes
  • Experience with machine setup and mold changes
  • Ability to troubleshoot molding defects and optimize processes
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Experience working with different plastic materials
  • Decoupled molding knowledge is a plusRJG training or certification is a plus
