About the role

🚀 Sales Engineer | AI Developer Tooling💰 $170k-$220k Base + Equity | Fully Remote (US) What if AI agents could do more than help developers write code? I'm partnering with one of the most exciting companies in developer tooling, backed by some of Silicon Valley's most prominent investors, Sequoia Capital, Google Ventures, Sam Altman & more. Tackling one of engineering's biggest shifts right now: moving from AI-assisted coding to entire software development workflows powered by autonomous agents. Think AI agents working across the development lifecycle, from identifying issues and writing code to testing, reviewing and shipping software. They've seen significant developer adoption, exceptional growth, and accelerating demand, so they're expanding their technical go-to-market team. They're hiring a Sales Engineer to help bring this technology into some of the world's most sophisticated engineering organisations. This isn't a traditional pre-sales role. You'll work directly with engineering leaders, tackle genuinely complex technical challenges, build POCs in real development environments, and demonstrate what's possible when AI agents become part of an organisation's engineering workflows. You'll have plenty of autonomy, direct exposure to product and engineering, and the chance to help shape how an entirely new category of developer technology goes to market. Who am I looking for? Sales Engineers / Solutions Engineers from developer tooling, DevOps, cloud infrastructure or similarly technical environments. Someone genuinely hands-on, comfortable reading code, troubleshooting integrations and getting into the technical weeds. Experience owning technical discovery, demos and enterprise POCs. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage credibly with developers and engineering leadership. A natural curiosity for AI, automation and where software engineering is heading. Prior software engineering experience is a big plus, but not essential. Neither is startup experience. What's on offer?💰 $170k-$220k guaranteed base salary + meaningful equity🌎 Fully remote across the US, with no customer travel🚀 Exceptional growth, world-class backing and a product at the forefront of agentic development🛠️ Real technical ownership and influence over an emerging go-to-market motion An opportunity to join a business that's not just adapting to the future of software engineering, but building the infrastructure behind it.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
