Hunter Roberts has several Intern opportunities available in the Purchasing Department.The hours are Monday through Friday from 8am until 5pm.Dates: September 7th - December 18thListed below are job functions you may be asked to complete as an intern at Hunter Roberts.Intern reports to: Chief Purchasing Manager or Assigned MentorResponsibilities:Assist Purchasing Agents and Assistant Purchasing Agents with prequalification of Subcontractors through use of TradeTapp prequalification website.Assist Purchasing Agents and Assistant Purchasing Agents with compiling Subcontracts.Assist Purchasing Agents and Assistant Purchasing Agents with creating Bidders lists for projects and following up to ensure proper coverage in all trades.Assist PA's & APA's in soliciting trade bids and leveling them.Arranging and coordinating meetings between Subcontractors and Purchasing/Operations teamMinimum Requirements:Must be enrolled in an accredited Undergraduate College or University with a sophomore status or junior statusMust be a construction management, engineering or related majorProficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Excel and WordAbility to work as a team member and to manage competing priorities in fast paced environmentMust be currently authorized to work in the United StatesExpected pay is $20.00 per hour
