About the role
- Independently perform service, troubleshooting, repair, inspection, and maintenance of commercial Fire Alarm systems and security systems including intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, and related low-voltage systems.
- Diagnose system issues and complete corrective actions in a timely and professional manner.
- Test and verify proper system functionality and compliance with applicable codes, standards, and customer requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on security and low-voltage systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, system layouts, and technical manuals.
- Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete service work efficiently and safely.
- Complete service documentation, inspection reports, and work orders accurately and on time.
- Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors regarding job progress and system status.
- Follow all company safety procedures and customer site requirements
- Travel to job sites as required.
