FACILITIES TECHNICIAN, WW HAULER - TEMPORARY This role is responsible for on-site water and wastewater (WW) management to keep trailers, restrooms, and food service operational.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Pump out black-water tanks from the office trailer, restroom trailers, and Airstreams using a specialized vacuum/pump truck Fill potable-water tanks on Airstreams, restroom trailers, food trucks, and mess-hall tanks Drive and operate a dedicated water/wastewater truck; connect and disconnect hoses for each fill or pump-out cycle Regularly check tank levels and schedule service to prevent running out of potable water or overflowing holding tanksBASIC QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalency certificate 2+ years of professional experience hauling water and wastewater Class B CDL with Tank Endorsement Valid driver\'s licensePREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 5+ years of professional driving experience Professional experience hauling wastewater Excellent organizational and time management skills WW / Hauling background Experience servicing waste tanks and wastewater systemsADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to work all required hours, weekends and off-shifts with minimal notice Ability to travel to other SpaceX sites as needed Ability to work in extreme outdoor environments - heat, cold, rain Ability to lift 25 lbs.; lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, are required to perform the functions of this positionITAR REQUIREMENTS To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
