About the role
Underwriting SpecialistImmediate need for a talented Underwriting with experience in the Insurance Industry. This is a 18+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in San Antonio, TX. Please review the job description below.Key Responsibilities and Requirements:Lead Specialist position will prefer at least 1 year call center experience and preferable at least 1 year sales experience.The primary responsibility of a Lead Specialist is to call potential customers (prospects) and put them in contact with a licensed Nationwide agent.The setting is fast paced and achieving the call center metrics is pivotal to success in the role.Associates will need to work through objections to being transferred and sell Nationwide while building rapport within their conversations.An additional responsibility is to answer occasional incoming calls from select states.The ideal candidate will be self-sustaining and able to make general decisions as necessary based on experience and understanding of the role.Role requires all desk work and long periods of sitting.General computer knowledge is also required.Our client is a leading Insurance Industry and we are currently interviewing fill this and other similar contract positions.
