QUALITY ENGINEER (0–5 years)On-site | Central Indiana | Automotive manufacturing | No sponsorship We are hiring a junior Quality Engineer for an exceptional automotive manufacturer. Structural parts — metal, plastic, and composites. New program launches are coming. You will sit with a Senior Quality Engineer and the Quality Manager and learn the job in the plant.
What you will do:
Work APQP on new programs Review first-article parts and quality data off new assembly lines with Manufacturing Engineering Learn and use 8D and 5-Why when something goes wrong Help put quality data together for customers Work inside IATF 16949 — docs, audits, and day-to-day plant quality Help fix quality issues on current production Who should apply Recent ME / MET / IE / IET grad with a real plant internship or co-op Or 1–5 years as Quality Engineer, Junior QE, Manufacturing QE, Customer QE, or Launch QEAutomotive plant time is a plusAPQP, PPAP, quality paperwork, or basic quality stats is a plus You already live in or near central Indiana and are able to drive to interview. If you are or have worked as Entry-Level Quality Engineer, Junior Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Quality Engineer, Automotive Quality Engineer, Customer Quality Engineer, Launch Quality Engineer or are a recent engineering graduate with experience as a manufacturing intern or have engineering internships, or worked as co-op Mechanical Engineer or Industrial Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering Degree or a Technology Degree, and have an interest in cars, trucks and vehicles, we would be interested in your applying to this role...Pay is competitive.
