About the role
- Always maintain professionalism and exemplify the highest levels of customer service when interacting with patients, families, caregivers, and other clients.
- Assist the warehouse department with loading and unloading your assigned company vehicle for the day.
- Participate in regular training for how to deliver, diagnose, and educate patients, families, and caregivers on the durable medical equipment we offer.
- Calls each service location to notify of ETA’s and communicates status to dispatch.
- Make deliveries of medical equipment while taking time to fully set up, instruct, and educate those at each location on all items being delivered.
- Pick up medical equipment from service locations when they are no longer needed.
- Assess, diagnose, and service malfunctioning equipment in the field when needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle while taking extra care to secure all medical equipment with the goal to prevent damage during transit.
- Assist in light equipment maintenance and cleaning.
- Participate in company on-call (after hours response) program
- Follows all company policies, procedures, dress code and management direction, including all fleet and safety policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
