We are seeking a Process Technician to join our team on the D1 shift at our Wilmington manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on semiconductor manufacturing experience who is looking to expand their technical expertise and take on increased responsibility within a wafer fab environment. The Process Technician will support day-to-day fab sustaining activities across process areas that may include Diffusion, Ion Implant, EPI, CVD, PVD, and Capping. Specific areas of responsibility will depend on experience, training, and business needs. This position works closely with Production, Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Maintenance Technicians, and other Process Technicians to troubleshoot issues, support manufacturing operations, and drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities: Support the disposition of production lots placed on hold or requiring engineering intervention. Assist with troubleshooting and resolving process and equipment-related issues. Partner with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to address manufacturing and process challenges. Support process improvement initiatives and technical projects. Maintain and update process documentation and generate engineering change notices (ECNs), as required. Take ownership of assigned processes, projects, and fab sustaining activities. Develop technical knowledge across multiple wafer fabrication process areas through training and hands-on experience.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical education in a related field preferred. Previous experience in semiconductor manufacturing, wafer fabrication, or a related technical manufacturing environment preferred. Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: Diffusion, Ion Implant, EPI, CVD, PVD, or Capping. Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with an interest in troubleshooting and problem-solving. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability and willingness to learn new processes, equipment, and technical areas. Experience across multiple semiconductor manufacturing processes is a plus. D1 Shift is Sunday-Tuesday + Alternating Wednesdays from 6:30 AM-6:30 PMAnalog Devices is an equal opportunity employer. Job Req Type: Graduate Job Required Travel: NoThe expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $25 to $32.Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors. This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
