Required Qualifications: Currently possess, or eligibility to receive a valid Florida Educator's Certificate showing certification as specialist in psychology. Specialist or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology or related field.
Desired Qualifications: Five (5) years psychological experience or equivalent. Knowledge of curriculum including exceptional student education. Knowledge of state/federal laws regarding students with disabilities. Knowledge of general education MTSS procedures. Background Screening: All prospective employees must submit to a Level 2 background check pursuant to Florida State Statute 435.04 and be found eligible by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. The background check will include, but is not limited to, fingerprinting for statewide criminal history records checks through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, national criminal history records checks through the Federal Bureau of Investigation, local criminal records checks through local law enforcement agencies, and a search of the sexual predator and sexual offender registries of any state in which the prospective employee resided during the immediate preceding 5 years.
