This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD, Section 9905 to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Veterans' preference does not apply to this announcement.
Serves as a Program Manager and/ or Independent Technical Review (ITR) Lead for one or more environmental programs assigned to the EM CX. Assigned program(s) may include Formerly Used Defense Sites (FUDS) program, EPA Superfund program, Army Installations Restoration program (IRP), Army Base Realignment and Closure program (BRAC), and Formerly Utilized Site Remedial Action program (FUSRAP), or other assigned programs. As the technical task coordinator, the incumbent coordinates resource requirements with the Division Chiefs and is delegated authority for planning, organizing and directing daily activities within the technical team (made up of technical experts at the EM CX and within other districts).
