Join Allied Universal, where our agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture puts people first through teamwork and integrity.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $19.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeSat08:00 AM - 05:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to passengers, crew members, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a cruise terminal location. Screen passengers, carry-on items, baggage, and/or personal belongings using assigned screening equipment and established procedures; report prohibited, suspicious, or unattended items to appropriate personnel. Verify credentials, boarding documentation, and authorized access for individuals entering restricted or controlled areas, following applicable access-control procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and request assistance as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned terminal, embarkation, disembarkation, and perimeter areas; document incidents, irregularities, and security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.Minimum Requirements:At least one year of security-related experience is required. A TSA-issued TWIC is required. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
