Job Description: Job DescriptionPosition Responsibilities· Electrical installation, wiring, and troubleshooting of automated machinery and machine tools· Build and wire electrical control panels and machine assemblies· Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and machine drawings· Install and troubleshoot sensors, safety devices, motors, VFDs, servos, and electrical components· Troubleshoot PLC-controlled automated equipment· Assist with robot and automation system integration· Perform electrical testing, startup, commissioning, and debugging of machinery· Diagnose and resolve electrical and controls-related issues in a timely manner· Work closely with mechanical, controls, and engineering teams during machine builds & installations· Travel to customer facilities for equipment installation, startup, service, and troubleshooting· Follow all applicable electrical, machine safety, and company standardsQualifications· Experience as a machine tool electrician, industrial electrician, automation electrician, or similar role· Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and controls· Ability to read and understand electrical schematics· Experience with PLCs, sensors, motors, VFDs, servos, and safety circuits· Experience with automated machinery, robotics, or machine tools is an asset· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills· Ability to work independently and as part of a team· Willingness to travel approximately 20%· Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer facilitiesCompany DescriptionMAS Engineering is looking for an experienced Machine Tool Electrician – Automation to join our growing team.
