About the Role
The Team: Leader is responsible for assisting the Crop Grower Coach with daily activities that include pruning, staking, spacing, weeding, and assembly of plants.
The Team: Leader will support the Crop Grower Coach with the daily organization of labor to support priorities and activities to ensure that quality and productivity goals are achieved.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: You will...Ensure that automation equipment is utilized in the process of pruning and spacing and that staking and assembly are performed accurately and timely throughout the department. Assist in assigning job tasks to craftsmen as needed. Be responsible for making sure that all craftsmen operate in a safe work environment, including the utilization of personal protective equipment. Utilize MNQ process improvement methods when performing tasks such as pruning, spacing, weeding, staking, tying and other production related tasks. Promote the Monrovia brand and supports the values of the company. Communicate effectively with craftsmen by providing clear goals, objectives, and feedback. Perform other related duties to benefit the mission of the company as assigned.
Who you are: Must have knowledge of a variety of plants. Must have basic math skills and the ability to write. Must be able to drive company tractor and vehicle. Must be able to effectively communicate with coaches and craftsman Must be able to adapt to changing business needs, earn the trust of others and focus on results.
