Our client, a well-established and growing law office, is seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee daily operations, administrative processes, and office support functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats while serving as a key member of the firm's leadership team. This is a direct-hire position, not a temporary or contract position.
About the Role: The Office Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the office while supporting attorneys and administrative staff. This individual will play a critical role in managing office procedures, onboarding team members, coordinating vendors, and maintaining an exceptional experience for both employees and clients.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, research, and train staff on office policies and procedures. Partner with HR and Finance on recruiting, interviewing, and hiring administrative personnel. Manage and maintain vendor relationships and accounts, including office services and software platforms. Serve as the primary point of contact for office equipment, printers, IT support, and related vendors. Coordinate and support in-office meetings, depositions, arbitrations, and other events, including room setup, supplies, and catering arrangements. Lead onboarding and training efforts for new administrative team members. Provide administrative coverage as needed, including answering phones, processing mail, and welcoming visitors. Oversee office supplies, equipment purchasing, and inventory management. Troubleshoot day-to-day office issues and ensure operational efficiency. Be available for occasional after-hours matters, which may include evenings and weekends.
Qualifications: Previous office management experience, preferably within a professional services or legal environment. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced office setting. Comfortable interacting with vendors, staff, attorneys, and clients. Proficiency with: Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)Adobe Acrobat General computer and phone systems Experience with Clio, Vonage, or legal technology platforms is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
