As our Pharmacy Aide, you will be helping customers find the merchandise they need within the store, collect prescriptions from customers and input all important information into the system, and accept payment for prescriptions and small purchases. You will also be answering the phone, fielding basic questions and referring customers to the pharmacist as needed, taking inventory and putting it away, and assisting the pharmacist in other duties, as needed. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, has strong customer service skills, and can uphold the highest level of confidentiality.
Responsibilities: Accept prescriptions from both new and returning patientsInput patient information and fill out all necessary patient formsAccept payment for prescriptions and other small purchasesAnswer the phone, field questions from customers, and refer them to the pharmacist as neededMaintain a clean, safe working environmentQualificationsExcellent customer service skillsThe ability to multitask and shift priorities, as neededFamiliarity with Microsoft Office suiteStrong communication skills
