About the role
Position Summary:Under the general direction of the Marketing, the Entry Level Full Stack Developer for Tools/Websites will be instrumental. This entry level role involves working across the full stack of our technology platforms, from crafting dynamic front-end interfaces to developing robust back-end systems. This role will collaborate closely with all the company’s business units and will participate in the design, development, and testing of application-based tools and websites. This position will be expected to have a keen eye for design and usability, alongside strong technical skills in coding and system design.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain both the front-end and back-end of application-based tools and websites.Write clean, functional, and sustainable code with comprehensive tests to validate implementation.Identify, troubleshoot, and debug issues in production and staging environments.Create relevant documentation for application-based tools and websites with minimal supervision.Collaborate with Product Management and UI/UX experts to identify, clarify, and achieve functional and aesthetic requirements.Optimize Engineering processes by recommending improvements to policies and procedures.Estimate software work packages and provide input to for planning purposes.Ensure stability and optimal performance of application-based tools and websites.Develop end-to-end solutions that enhance user experiences and meet the company’s strategic objectives.Supervisory Responsibilities: NoneQualifications:RequiredBachelor’s degree in software engineering or equivalent field.1-3 years of professional experience in software development, but all experience levels are welcome to apply.Strong abilities with applicable web development languages such as HTML, CSS, Angular, React, etc.Strong proficiency with standard programming languages such as C#, .NET, DevExpress, etc.Strong capabilities with database structures and SQL/SQL ServerCapacity to work and deliver with both agile and traditional development cycles.Knowledge of maintaining the Windows server by monitoring the logs and services running on production and staging environments.Experience in WINDOWS and Microsoft SuiteDesiredKnowledge of the Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Fisheye/Crucible)Knowledge of code versioning software such as Git, Gitlabs, and Team Foundations Server.Master’s DegreeOther Required Qualifications:Ability to adhere to Adacel’s Drug Free Workplace Policy.Ability to pass an Adacel background check while employed.Must currently have or have the ability to obtain a U.S. passport.Physical Requirements:Occasional lifting – up to 30 lbs.Repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movement.Work Environment:Alternative work schedules (9/80 with every other Friday off).May be required to provide on-call coverage and contribute to scheduled project work outside normal working hours.Typically sitting at a desk.Salary Range: $58,000 to $65,000 (Depending on experience)Benefits:Ability to earn privilege of hybrid teleworking environment after probationary period (3-6 months)Up to two weeks’ vacation plus seven paid holidays a year, one floating holiday, and sick time accruals.401K plan with company match.Employee contribution towards health insurance.Adacel is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
