Registered Nurse (RN) – Lactation Consultant Coordinator Join our team as a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) – Lactation Consultant Coordinator, where you will lead lactation support services for new mothers and infants, promoting successful breastfeeding and maternal-infant bonding.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and provide lactation education and support to mothers and families in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Develop, implement, and evaluate lactation programs and policies. Train and supervise lactation consultants and nursing staff in breastfeeding support and best practices. Assess breastfeeding challenges and provide individualized care plans for mothers and infants. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care for breastfeeding families. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Work Environment: The role is based in hospitals, maternity units, or community health centers. This position requires expertise in lactation support, leadership, and patient education.
