Consulting AnalystDo you enjoy keeping people, information, and day-to-day operations organized? Are you comfortable supporting meetings, records, data, and office activities in a fast-moving environment?Avid Core is seeking a Consulting Analyst to provide administrative, operational, and analytical support to a federal law enforcement client in Washington, DC. This is a full-time role for an organized and service-oriented professional who can support changing priorities while producing accurate and timely work.Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000, based on experience and qualifications.Overall Responsibilities:Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to government teams, projects, and leadershipSupport office operations and logistics, including inventory tracking, supply distribution, and equipment managementOrganize and maintain electronic files, records, documentation, and internal trackersAssist with document control, records management, audit support, and retrieval of supporting materialsCoordinate meetings, manage calendars, prepare agendas and briefing materials, and record minutes and action itemsSupport travel coordination and other scheduling activities for government personnelUpload, organize, and maintain SharePoint content and assist users with navigation and document retrievalSupport basic SharePoint lists, libraries, and established workflows under the guidance of senior staffCompile and summarize data and prepare draft tables, charts, written summaries, and presentation materialsConduct routine open-source research and respond to administrative or analytical requests from team leadsSupport onboarding, offboarding, personnel documentation, meeting scheduling, and workforce tracking activitiesMaintain assigned government equipment and follow established issuance, tracking, and security proceduresAdapt to reassignment among teams, projects, or priorities based on client needsProvide other non-specialized administrative and operational support as assignedQualifications/Skills:At least 1 year of relevant experience in an administrative, office support, operational support, or similar roleStrong customer service skills and the ability to work professionally in a federal law enforcement environmentProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and basic office equipmentAbility to learn new software, systems, and client processes as neededStrong organizational, document management, and time-management skillsAbility to compile information and produce accurate, clear, and timely work productsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and respond appropriately to changing assignmentsAbility to obtain and retain the required federal background investigationMicrosoft Office proficiency certification is preferred but not requiredWe're looking for someone who is:Detail-oriented and highly organizedReliable, responsive, and committed to good customer serviceComfortable working with documents, data, schedules, and administrative systemsAble to follow established procedures and protect sensitive informationAdaptable when priorities, assignments, or client needs changeProfessional and collaborative when working with government staff and teammatesProactive, positive, and willing to learnEducation:High school diploma or associate degree required; some college coursework or a relevant professional certification is preferred.Benefits:Comprehensive health insuranceVision, dental, and short-term and long-term disability401K with employer match (after six months of employment)Federal and non-federal paid holidaysFlexible paid time offGenerous bonus program based on firm and individual performanceAn opportunity to learn and grow in an inclusive and supportive environment with a fun teamLocation:This full-time position is based at federal client sites in Washington, DC. The selected candidate must be available to work onsite and may be assigned between two downtown client locations.
