Job Description:
As a Pharmacy Lab Technician, you will be an integral part of pharmacy team. Your responsibilities will encompass:- Assisting pharmacists in the compounding and preparation of medications.- Maintaining accurate and organized records of medication formulas and inventory.- Operating and maintaining pharmaceutical equipment and instruments.- Compounding non-sterile preparations and ensuring techniques are followed.- Conducting quality control checks to ensure the purity and accuracy of medications.- Adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines for pharmaceutical preparations.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications:- Associate's degree or certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not mandatory.- Prior experience as a Pharmacy Lab Technician is preferred but not mandatory.- Strong attention to detail, precision, and adherence to safety protocols.- Effective communication and teamwork skills.- Familiarity with pharmaceutical equipment and laboratory procedures.- A commitment to following pharmaceutical standards and regulations.
