Job Description:
STAMPING PRESS OPERATORG& W Products is a leader in the business of contract metal manufacturing and coating. Founded in 1968, our areas of expertise include metal stamping, laser cutting, CNC punching, metal fabrication, manual and robotic welding, structural steel working, sheet metal fabrication, tool and die work, powder coating and assembly. We are currently hiring for a Stamping Press Operator. A Stamping Press Operator is responsible for setting up and operating stamping presses and other secondary equipment.
Responsibilities include:
Maintain and operate in a safe, clean and efficient work environment Changeover, set-up and operate stamping presses and other secondary metal processing equipment Initiate press start-up Set-up auxiliary equipment as required to include coil line and feeder equipment to feed material into presses Inspect parts per quality instructions and ensure that parts are made to print. Perform and maintain 5S standards Must be available for overtime when needed Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
Experience setting up, adjusting and operating stamping presses and other secondary metal processing equipment Ability to operate coil line and feeder equipment Knowledge of reading blueprints Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly Ability to work well in a team environment Detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements:
Work in a Manufacturing environment Able to occasionallylift up to 50 lbs. Stand for at least 10 hours per day
