About the Opportunity:
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Reclamation Technicians for an electric motor repair and service company in Hutchinson, MN. In this role, you'll help disassemble, clean, inspect, and refurbish electric motors and generator components used in the wind energy industry while developing specialized mechanical skills through hands‑on training.

What You'll Do as a Reclamation TechnicianLoad and unload stator and rotor cores from burn‑off ovens
Strip burned windings from rotors and stators using tools and equipment
Clean, inspect, and prepare motor cores for rewinding processes
Perform core loss testing and identify potential defects
Assist with motor disassembly and repair preparation activities
Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas and equipment
What You Need to Bring to the Reclamation Technician RoleMechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power tools
Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift
Comfortable working around heat, dust, grease, noise, and industrial equipment
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance in Hutchinson, MN
Manufacturing, construction, maintenance, automotive, fabrication, or similar hands‑on experience preferred but not required
Entry‑level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply
