About the role

To support a growing startup, the remote Business Broker / M&A Associate will manage confidential conversations between business owners looking to sell and qualified buyers, facilitating deal-making in a flexible, part-time or full-time capacity. Key responsibilities Work the sell side to build trust with owners who may want to sell, even if they are not listed Engage with qualified buyers, searchers, and operators to facilitate successful transactions Maintain confidentiality while representing the needs of both sellers and buyers to move conversations forward Required qualifications Experience as a business broker, M&A associate/analyst, or sell-side advisor Strong relationship-building skills and discretion in handling sensitive information Comfortable managing conversations and negotiations between both sides of a deal Proficient in phone communication, preferring calls over emails for outreach Organized and self-directed, capable of maintaining follow-ups without constant supervision
