About the role
- Shop floor manufacturing inspector doing process inspections on components repair, acceptance of hardware, circuit boards, aircraft, etc.
- Perform shipping & receiving inspections
- Inspect and audit quality items
- Review and update ADPs (Acceptance Data Packages)
- Perform audits from NASA for Boeing ISS program
- Make and determine steps in a RII (Receiving Inspection Instructions)
- Make and determine steps in a SIC (Shipping Inspection Checklist)
- Generate ADPs as necessary on incoming/outgoing hardware
- Maintain work in the MRC warehouse
- Work with TipQA (Receiving Systems), HHRS (Hardware History Retrieval System), VMDB (Vehicle Master Data Base) BNS (Boeing Nonconformance System) and in MESci (Manufacturing Execution System Common Image)
- Review and approve Nonconformances in MESRun spreadsheets for the RII, SIC, and grief logs
