About the role
To support the development of a calibration/validation approach for a LEO IR Imager, the temporary Junior Scientist will work remotely, utilizing AI tools and Python coding to develop software for isolating ground sites and comparing radiance measurements.
Key responsibilities:
Develop software for calibration/validation systems, focusing on radiance comparison and monitoring
Prepare presentations for project reviews, including PDR/CDR/TRR and LRR
Follow standard design, development, test, and implementation techniques as specified by the organization
Required qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a scientific research-related field at an accredited university
Proficiency in Python coding
Familiarity with AI-based tools and their applications
Understanding of scientific methods and their implementation
