Our client, a highly respected and growing law firm in Naples, is seeking an experienced Trusts and Estates Paralegal to join its team. The firm recently completed a merger and is entering an exciting period of growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable paralegal seeking a stable, long-term position supporting a kind, dynamic partner in a collaborative and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities: Support the partner with sophisticated estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters Prepare and maintain trust and estate files from inception through completion Draft and file probate pleadings, petitions, notices, inventories, accountings, and related documents Assist with estate and trust administration, including gathering and organizing asset information Prepare estate planning documents and related correspondence Prepare and assist with applicable federal estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax forms and supporting documentation Coordinate with clients, beneficiaries, accountants, financial institutions, courts, and other third parties Monitor filing requirements, tax deadlines, court deadlines, and administration calendars Prepare deeds and other documents related to the transfer of assets Maintain organized electronic files and accurately track billable time Provide thoughtful and professional client service throughout sensitive estate and trust matters
Qualifications: Significant experience as a Trusts and Estates, Estate Planning, Probate, or Trust Administration Paralegal Strong knowledge of trusts and estates procedures and filing requirements Experience preparing or assisting with tax forms used in estate, gift, trust, and probate matters Familiarity with applicable IRS forms and supporting schedules is required Strong drafting, proofreading, and document-management skills Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines Professional, compassionate, and confident communication skills Prior law firm experience supporting a busy trusts and estates practice This is a wonderful opportunity to join a growing Naples firm, work closely with a highly regarded and personable partner, and become an important part of the team’s continued growth.
