Office Secretary, Webster Groves High School Webster Groves High School - Webster Groves, MO 63119 Position Type Full Time 2026-2027 School Year Primary Objective: To provide secretarial support to assigned personnel; communicating information to staff, the public, and other districts; orienting personnel to their job requirements; ensuring compliance with financial, legal and administrative requirements; and providing information and/or direction as may be requested. Essential Functions: Provide administrative support or assistance to supervisor and in certain defined areas to supervisor or other personnel in the office Prepare and maintain student attendance information, and generate attendance reports and letters Prepare and disseminate correspondence, memos and forms Develop and maintain a filing system Monitor assigned activities and/or program components (i.e. school announcements, coordination of after school activities, managing Google Suite, Canva, and social media posting, 1:1 Technology communications, discipline communications, mail merge, etc) Responds to emergency calls for the purpose of notifying appropriate parties to address immediate safety issues Responsible for maintaining confidentiality (ie: FERPA, HIPPA) Promote and practice an attitude of friendly cooperation and harmony throughout the school Obtain strong organizational and computer/technology skills (ie: Infinite Campus, Google Suite, Canva, etc.) Maintain effective interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Assist with set up for large meetings Manage school wide room reservation calendar Assist with team and school events such as Open House, Parent Teacher Conferences, 8th grade Promotion Ceremony, award ceremonies, field trip coordination including permission slip and money collection, school picture day contact, etc. Assume other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Principal Education: High school diploma required Experience: 1-3 years of office experience Benefits: Eligible FLSA Status: Non-Exempt WEBSTER GROVES SCHOOL DISTRICT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER & E-VERIFY PARTICIPANT WGSD District Code of Conduct
